Our Modest Gowns & How Our Real Brides are Rocking Them!

Did you know Evelyn Bridal has a line for the modest bride? That's right, for years, we've been creating gowns for the Mormon, and other religious brides, who require higher necklines and backs, longer sleeves, and an overall modest look. Most of our modest gowns originated from a non-modest style and that's because all of our gowns are highly customizable.

Now while our modest girls have a few gown restrictions, we can say with complete confidence, these are some of the most stylish brides out there, and their wedding photos are always a treat to see. Scroll down to view a few of our favorite modest gowns, along with our real brides rocking them. We think you'll agree these modest looks are great not just for the religious bride but for any bride who wants an ultra elegant bridal look.

1. Luna-AV

One of the most elegant of our modest gowns, Luna-AV features a high neckline, cap sleeves with pretty lace details, and a gorgeously beaded chapel length train. The non-modest version is strapless, but we think what makes Luna-AV incredibly beautiful is that high neckline.

2. Ellery

Ellery's high neckline and overall sophisticated style fit right in with, and has been a favorite of, our modest brides. The only modification this style required for the modest bride was a raised back. A fitted gown with beaded Alençon lace appliqués and all-over lace, this blush pretty features short cap sleeves with floral details and a sweep train.

3. Grace-AV

The modest version of our original Grace gown no longer has a plunging neckline, but it's still embellished with the prettiest floral lace appliqués and sparkly lace. And did we mention the train features a subtle shimmer beneath the tulle? It's pretty magical!

4. Amara-AV

This minimal (but definitely not simple!) sheath gown features the most amazing scalloped hem lace which gives the Amara a vintage feel. While the non-modest version has a gorgeous illusion back, this version is quite chic!

These are just a few of a large collection of styles for the modest bride. As you can see, these gowns are anything but boring, and we can't wait to see more brides choose long sleeves and raised necklines - a look we think is worthy of royalty and definitely made for the modern bride!
